Alexisonfire seems to be an appropriate name because this band is fuckin hot! Without a shadow of a doubt, in a land of crap, AOF is the SHIT! Crisis marks the third studio release from this (now platinum) Canadian band and is by far the best effort in their short but illustrious careers. A lot of bands have been engineering the "screamo" sound, what makes Alexisonfire stand out? The fact that the screaming is almost secondary to the actual singing. It is my opinion that guitarist/(lead?) singer Wade MacNeil is the driving force behind AOF's success. Aside from having one of the best voices MacNeil can belt a catchy chorus effortlessly!

Staying similar to the sound of "Watch Out!", "Crisis" boasts 10 tracks of balls out musical madness! Each song better than the last, all with unparalleled musical talent and ability. I know I say this a lot, but could this be the.....BEST RECORD OF THE YEAR?!?! The amount of growth, both lyrically and in song writing shows that AOF is leading the charge of young bands taking over music as we know it today.
